My Month of September on the Treasure Coast

Another month down and we're nearing the end of the year. Man, it has flown by. This month was quite interesting and the assignments mill kept churning out interesting opportunities to make some photos I'd never made before and several I have. Living on the Treasure Coast has some interesting perks, chief among them, I get to see and meet some influential movers and shakers.

I had an assignment come across my desk to cover a talk being given by Dave Barry, a Miami-based writer who worked as a humorist and columnist for the Miami Herald and has written several books. I had another opportunity to photograph the Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton as she passed through our area giving campaign speeches. And, finally, I had a chance to meet Tim Tebow, the former University of Florida quarterback, Heisman Trophy winner, NFL quarterback and now a member of the New York Mets baseball organization. I almost got to cover Donald Trump as well, but was pulled off of that due to overstaffing.

Along with those assignments, the rest of the month was filled with spot news, high school sports and general assignments. Not too shabby. Here's a collection of photos from the month.
